About

The Peak encompasses everything that is Colorado College. The name represents where we are – set high in the Rocky Mountains – what we are – an institution at the apex of academic and athletic excellence – and who we are – alumni, students, and faculty reaching the pinnacle of achievement. The mission of The Peak is to engage CC alumni and friends in the advancement of the college and its entire community.
This platform seeks to sustain and strengthen the connection between the college and its alumni through thoughtful and powerful multimedia content that highlights the contributions of CC students, faculty, and alumni to society, their communities, and the world. Our storytelling is in service to the things that make the college and its people unique.
The Peak supports CC’s liberal arts values of antiracism, sustainability, and holistic wellbeing, connecting alumni to the college and the value of life-long learning. Colorado College is a mission-driven institution. Therefore, as a representative of the campus, our stories reflect that mission.

The Place
Colorado College is a small, private liberal arts college located in Colorado Springs, CO. For 150 years, CC has provided a robust learning and living experience, 50 years delivering it with our intensive, innovative Block Plan, where students take (and professors teach) only one class at a time. At CC, we don’t settle. We’re committed to antiracism. We’ve achieved carbon neutrality. We push boundaries and surpass expectations. From scientists and politicians to artists and technology directors and anything and everything else, the CC education prepares students for any path they choose.
